Here’s what you didn’t see: preceding this meal was a four hour apartment-cleaning marathon, with me being grumpy at various points throughout.
For me, apparently, I need more of a reward system built in to the whole “cleaning” process. And no, a nice, clean apartment isn’t reward enough. I needed some Italian food, and dessert, to sort of make up for it all.
Man, I hate cleaning so much.
