Noticing Patterns

Whenever I start tinkering with things as potential projects, sometimes I get down a good path, othertimes they’re dead ends. Typically, a few of the same things tend to recur, everytime a project begins to take shape, moving away from the “tinkering” stage and more towards an actual, structured experiment.

I know I’m onto a fun/good project when:

1) It’s all I can think about, all day at work
2) I work on it during my lunch break
3) I start waking up earlier in the morning to work on it
4) I start to forego the blog, so that I can work on it

See what I just did there?
