While we found a good spot for my car yesterday, it turns out the city plowed nearby and made it a little harder for us to move the car this morning.
So, once again, I was out trying to dig my car out of its parking spot for a second time. I spent about 20 minutes or so digging things out, and rocking the car while Liz pumped the gas. Luckily for us, a neighbor (named Jose) happened to be walking by, and with his extra help we were able to dislodge the car after a few tries.
I was happy to be able to return the favor somewhat, as he had a bit of trouble getting his family’s minivan out of its spot, a few spaces away.
I’m two for two now – having dug out two cars, twice. Chicago in the wintertime. Gotta love it.
