Mini Fudge Cakes

Liz worked in the kitchen this evening, baking up some mini-fudge cakes. This is an idea she had for the wedding, as a possible favor for guests… and was trying out the recipe.

The process involves using three different molds, and then rolling the fudge in a small plate of sugar.

Stack each piece, and you have a mini-cake!

Post-production.

Group shot of some of the cakes. She was also experimenting with various flags/decorations.

For those interested, the recipe is here.

  • dig the spiral. would be great to have the spiral up (ideally) or down (insert bad wedding joke here). sort of like a circle that makes progress.

  • Ahh. That’s a good idea. Thanks.I actually like the spiral down. heh(Since they would be going in boxes, the spiral up may cause some space issues.)More trial favors to come. :)

  • if only i were closer and could *taste* test, i’m sure i could be more creative…..
