Windshield Spam

On heading out to work this AM, Liz found a note attached to the windshield of my car. Looking up and down our street, all the other cars also had a similar note – a piece of paper, folded twice to resemble a square, tucked underneath each car’s wiper blade.

If you’re thinking it was a flyer, you’re only partly right. Folding it out full, it turned out to be a fantastic hand-written flyer – essentially, a piece of windshield spam.

I realize that in re-publishing this thing I’m in some way complicit or assisting the original author/spammer. But this is just too good to not share.

And besides, I’ve already got these links bookmarked anyways.

I don’t know what I love more – the fact that it’s handwritten, the fact that it does this repetetive “Attention! Attention!” throughout, the phrase “Click online,” the fact that all the sites are Australian, or that it’s all about sex… and shoes.

Can’t wait to see what Google Ads end up showing alongside this particular entry.

  • and the domain is australian. spectacular. if i had found that i would probably have already framed it.

  • Why couldn’t they have posted something about boycotting the meters, instead? Sheesh.
