It’s a big wedding weekend, apparently. Liz has been working on some decorations for the actual wedding ceremony site. She’s got a ton of butterflies, each hanging from an individual strand of ribbon.

Felix's Chinese name is Wei Tien. For the longest time, he thought his name meant "very sky." But he later found out it roughly translated to "Preserver of Heaven."
Felix was in show choir in high school. He can still pull out the old "jazz hands" if need be, due in no small part to muscle memory.
Every once in a while, Felix has some interesting run-ins with other Asians. At times, they're armed with cameras; at other times, he has the slight feeling that they might be armed, period.
I finally have an extra moment to drop in on your blog and see these beautiful butterflies. Tell Liz WELL DONE!
how did you attach the butterflies to the ribbon?and were the butterflies weighted?beautiful by the way :)
These butterflies were actually christmas ornaments from Target a few years ago, so they have clips built in. Additionally, I bought some washers at the hardware store and wrapped them up with the ribbon end, and then used the clips to grab onto the whole thing.Are you working on a wedding yourself?
