Spotted this on the walk to the El yestrday, near California and Fullerton. It’s the same building that used to have a lucky seven on the side.
Looking at this photo again today, I’m reminded of another guy with two ladders, slightly more lost in his work.
Most people have separate heart and love lines on their palms. Felix has one big line that spans the width of his entire right palm. He's told that this is "lucky."
As a kid, Felix starred in a television commercial for a toy called "Linkits." He's never seen the toy beyond that day, but can still hear the theme song in his head.
On July 13th, 2002, Felix nearly killed himself when he put a Tombstone pizza in the oven and then promptly fell asleep on the couch for the remainder of the night. He almost won a Darwin Award.
