Yesterday evening, I got a text message from my friend Melissa, who was visiting Las Vegas. On a prior trip of hers in 2005, I sent her $5 so she could place a bet for me at the roulette table.
Fast forward 5 years and a new iPhone later: I was making a bet in Vegas just by texting a quick message.
I snapped this photo because of how perfectly it encapsulates a small window of time: from Saturday at 4:35 PM until Sunday at 3:26 AM.
