With Liz and I moving at the end of the month, the end of our lease at the current apartment overlaps with the lease at the new apartment by a month. Our Apartment Management company is trying to find someone to move in in April, and I figured it wouldn’t hurt to also post up the apartment here on my site. After all, I’ve got lots of photos to show of the place.
So: if you’re looking for an apartment in Logan Square, our place will be available as of April 1. It’s at Logan and California and has two bedrooms, sunroom and a dining room. Walkable distance to the California Blue Line stop, and really quick access to the Kennedy. There’s a Starbucks about 1/2 a block away from the front door. Hit me up via email if you want more of the particulars.
Below are some photos and video from when we first moved in to the place:

Looking in to the living room and the sunroom (which faces Logan Boulevard).

From the sunroom, looking out onto the living room area. Hallway to the left leads to the bathroom, situated between the two bedrooms. Hallway to the right goes to the dining room and kitchen.

Here’s the dining room, looking in from the hallway.

Dining room windows, looking out onto Fairfield.
To add a bit of color to the area, there’s a great little bakery by the California stop called Panaderia La Central. Near our apartment, there’s a House of Lights that brightens up the neighborhood each holiday season – literally. And a few blocks west during the warmer months, near Logan Square Proper, is the Logan Square Farmers Market.
We’ve been here now for a little under three years. If you’re interested in the area, I’m sure you’ll find lots of related posts if you search for Logan Square.

Liz’s Move

Hi! Your blog came up when I searched “apartments near blue line”. Anyway, I’m looking to start a year lease May 1st. Please let me know if this apt. is still available and also how much rent is.Thanks!Grace
Sent you an email, Grace!
What floor is the apartment on, 2 or 3? Can you tell me the rent on that apartment? And is it still available?
It’s a 2nd floor apartment, and it’s still available. But you’ll want to contact Kass Management for more details at 773-975-7234 Extension 221. You’ll want to speak to someone named Felicia, who handles the property.
