As is my tradition, I took a photo of my accountant (James C. Kamin) when we met to do my taxes. I’m not sure what prompted me the first time, but I’ve done it before in the past… and Jim’s alwasy been a good sport about this.
The difference this time around when we met? I was with Liz, and the two of us were doing our taxes together. After a quick check, it looked like we would be better off filing jointly, and so that’s what we ended up doing.
As we were filling out the paperwork, I was handed the forms and I kept waiting around for Liz to get her copy. And then I realized… we both were filling out just one form. Made me laugh.

We met pretty late at night (8:30 PM), given Jim’s crazy schedule when Tax Season arrives. On the way out, I snapped a few photos of the area leading up to his office. I’m so taken with the large windows of the place, and I really love the little hidden area (in Old Town) where his office is located.

Um. That office is incredible. Could use a little redecoration, but amazing nonetheless.
