Bird on a Bench, Logan Square
It may be the shorter walk to the El, or it may just be Logan Square as a whole – but I tend to see a lot less street art and graffiti on my walks to work anymore. When I lived in Bucktown, I walked a stretch of North Avenue down to the Milwaukee/Damen/North trisection, and always seemed to spot new things I had missed: tags, stickers, posters.
So it made me happy today to spot this bit of work, on the back of a bus bench on Milwaukee (right across from Logan Square proper). I seem to so rarely take my camera out anymore in the mornings, it felt nice to pause a bit, and admire this guy.
