Liz and the Lady Grey Coat: Finished Photos

Liz has been working on a sew-along project, where participants from all over agree to undertake a specific sewing project at the same time.

This latest one was a larger undertaking, spanning about a month’s worth of work to create a coat off of the Lady Grey pattern.

If you want to see the early stages of the coat, and when Liz first began… check out these photos from late September.

She completed the coat over the weekend, and wanted to post up some photos to share with the other participants. So… yesterday during lunch, we decided to go on a photoshoot. Of course, we picked the spot by the Art Museum where I proposed. Though the fountains were empty and turned off, the leaves were still on the trees and made for some nice backgrounds.

If you’re curious to see what other participants came up with, check out the sew-along Flickr Group.

  1. I feel like the laziest person in the world when I see all that Liz does. That coat is stunning! Nicely done!
