My LinkedIn Profile

I created a LinkedIn profile ages and ages ago, and then promptly forgot all about it. In the following years, I never really went back to it. From time to time, someone would add me, and I’d mechanically go back and add then.

But after a while, the emails and notifications became more of a nuisance to me. I was settled in my job, and wasn’t interested in searching for other employment opportunities. I didn’t care to maintain a profile… and ended up deleting the account entirely.

A few days ago, I went back in and started anew.

I’m not 100% sure what I want to pursue, at this point in time. Still sussing all that out, honestly. But for now, it seems prudent to get all my info organized and together in one spot.

Looking around the LinkedIn environment, I’m getting my head around endorsements and recommendations… and also trying to gauge what the general protocols are. Listing out a ton of variant skills seems like overkill, so I’m trying to keep the list smallish.

I’ll probably be going back in and tweaking things about more, but there you have it. Next up on the docket: site redesign.
