Code Day
Spent a lot of today working on a personal project (while at the same time, getting some practice in with AngularJS). While it wasn’t a flurry of productivity, I do feel good after having put in a pretty solid number of hours.
A lot of my morning involved reading up on Gulp, and figuring out how to do something basic like concatenate all my .js files into a single file. Essentially, I was creating a process where my computer would take every file within a folder, and combine it into one file.
Unfortunately for me, I had set the destination for the output file to be in that same folder. So every time I ran this process, the output file kept doubling in size. Took me like 45 minutes to realize what I had done. A rather silly and embarrassing mistake, but pretty sure I’ll never make that one again.
A lot of the day was about re-arranging and reorganizing. Fun way to spent a Sunday…
