Leopard Lounge, exterior. Gorgeous evening, and a mild breeze. Ed and I used to come here after work on Fridays. It’s a nice place when it’s deserted, but pretty awful once the regular Friday night crowd arrives.
Our server, Anaeshka (sp?), was nice enough to pose.
A shot of Ed, sitting behind my shot of Maker’s Mark.
Interior view of the Leopard Lounge. After this photo, we left and wandered up and down Milwaukee Ave, looking for furniture shops and possible wedding gifts. Found some neat stores, but nothing appropriate.
Ed and I went into Reckless Records , on Milwaukee (boy – everyone’s using Flash these days). I came across a copy of Ma vie en rose (My Life in Pink) , a movie that was recommended to me ages ago by Ingrid and Megan from Poems That Go. The store clerk humored my drunk ass, and posed with the tape.
We gave up looking for gifts, and focused on drinking. Headed into Nick’s Beer Garden. It’s a miracle I didn’t drop the camera at this point in the night. Notice the quality of the image, along with the precise focusing on my part. Brilliant!
