Interview with Templeton
Mr. Grumpy: What do you like best about the area you live in?
Templeton: I live in Brooklyn, NY and I love being in the heart of it all. I can have access to everything that New York has to offer (art, entertainment, industry) but I still live in a neighborhood, with trees, and people I know.
Mr. Grumpy: Any current projects you’re working on that you’d like to share?
Templeton: Currently working on two websites, and revising my own site. involved with one project that has a NDA, but is very cool, and am designing scenery for Batboy:the Musical, and Romeo & Juliet the opera. Just finished up a 18:30 minute animated Director CD-Rom – an interactive proposal for a new design of Titanic:The Musical for London’s west end.
Mr. Grumpy: Give up some love for grumpy.
Templeton: Yes yes, Grumpy is indeed the man. A gifted artist and wordsmith, he has always inspired and encouraged me and my work. He also hosts the baddest UT server in the states – You magnificent bastard! I salute you.
Mr. Grumpy: What’s your best WH memory?
Templeton: Well, there was a time when everyone was making signatures for each other. Moh-6 and Rasta started that whole movement, and it was so great to see everyone sharing and doing really nice things and work for each other. That was the closest I’ve ever felt to people in an online community.
Mr. Grumpy: How’d you choose the name templeton?
Templeton: Templeton is a throwback to my stint with IRC. I think its an interesting name and I love the way it sounds, and the letters form the word. Sounds odd, but there really is no deep meaning behind it. If only Roth had written Templeton’s Complaint…. :)
