Wooha!
Rob, one of the Sales guys, came around today and took me and Justin to the Village Cycle Center. They’re one of his accounts, and we were hoping to get a good deal of bikes due to his association. Well, turns out we didn’t get much of a discount, but whatever – I’ve been wanting a bike for ages. The last bike I remember having was an old BMX dirt bike, and I used to take that thing over a homemade ramp made of wood and cinder blocks. But this thing is so light, and feels so comfortable and fast. Yeah!
I got home today, and rode around a bit – did a few laps around the neighborhood. It’s literally been years since I’ve ridden a bike, and riding it around is taking some getting used to. I’m a bit wary of riding into the city with this thing (mainly because I feel out of practice), but it’s going to be a trial by fire tomorrow. I’m still a bit nervous… but I figure that’ll fade the more I ride around.
When I got done, even though I hadn’t really ridden that far, my legs felt wobbly and made of rubber. :)
