A Little Late

Looking out the window at work, I noticed the cranes becoming a bit more active. I grabbed my camera, headed downstairs, hoping to capture the whole process of them tilting the chair upright. Downstairs, the doors to the main entrance were all blocked. There was a security guard directing me to a side exit, and refusing to allow anyone to pass. I pointed to my camera like a mute five-year old. I think I may have actually pouted. The security cop looked me dead in the eyes and said "Side exit."

I snuck in to Artisan (which is located right next to the entrance). Since Ben, Justin and I get coffee there every morning, they know us all on a first-name basis. I asked if I could slip by and use their exit and was able to get situated in a nice little nook, close to the chair. Unfortunately, another security guard outside saw me (called me ma’am a few times, accidentally) and made me back away. By the time I got set up, the damn thing was already upright. I tried taking some video of them mounting the chair to the pedastals, but that process was dull as nails.

My camera went low on batteries, so I had to hop inside for a new set. Got a few interesting pictures of the big chair, completed.
