Katie Visits

As I was working away, I heard a bit of a noise behind me. As it turns out Katie was visiting the office today, and had moved a chess piece, trying to get my attention (I think she had hidden behind my white board). We talked briefly about her trip back home, and her upcoming stint at the Mix.

Unfortunately, I was on my way out when she arrived. She had some rather kickass red streaks done to her hair, and I wish I could have snapped a quick photo.

Before I left though, we talked briefly about Jets to Brazil. I had seen a post on twelvestone that had their lyrics, and was rather taken by the words. I’m not normally one to like lyrics in and of themselves, but this song definitely grabbed my interest. During the day, Ben found some songs from them on Epitonic. Unfortunately, these tracks didn’t do much for me… but Katie offered to burn me some songs, so I’m looking forward to hearing more.
