After Work: Danny’s

Justin convinced me to hang out with him and Kent (a lot of work that was) at Danny’s. We met up there around 9 PM, and talked a good long while, sipping drinks and passing the time.

One of the cool folks we met was Michelle: who was celebrating her 31st birthday. She doesn’t look old enough to be 31, but she was nice enough to pass around delicious cupcakes to everyone in the room.

On my way out, I talked to her again briefly, and found out she’s got a (potential) show at the Webster Wine Bar.

Michelle and I exchanged e-mail addresses, and I gave her the link to this blog. I’ll keep my eyes and ears open – if I get specific dates, I’ll post when her show officially starts.

I gotta say – Danny’s is awesome. Nick Drake for a while in the background. Stiff drinks. Candles and shadow. Great place to hang out.
