Mmmmmm Múm
If I’ve been drinking, and I’m working away on the computer… I really, really like listening to Múm. It makes my toes curl.

This blog was something joyful to stumble across. The name of it stems from the fact tha the author lives above a laundromat in New York, whose address is actually 666. There are some incredible photographs here, and a lot of great links. Check out Satan’s Laundromat!
I was trying to dig around online, and find out who was responsible for the “Chicago is for Loners” sign I saw, a few days back. I had some prior luck with this sort of thing, when I dug around for who might be responsible for those You Are Beautiful stickers. I looked up keywords, based on the text below…
Today, I ended up cleaning the apartment a bit. I’m not very fast when it comes to cleaning (I don’t like it, and avoid it at almost every turn in the process). I’m also easily distracted. So cleaning just one room for me can take an eternity. I made some headway into the kitchen area, and spent this evening working…
I happened to see eccesignum’s blog today, and noticed his entry on how he saw an entry on my blog, which led him to Signs of Life, which led him to submit a photo he took, which then got accepted, which he then posted about, which led me to post this entry and which… *EXPLODES*
Lately, I’m a bit worn down. Worked a little late this evening pitching in on some stuff for New York (although not as late as they’re going to be working tonight). By the time I got home tonight, I lost a lot of steam. I’ve got bunches of pictures to update yet. Apologies for not keeping as up to date…
Abe came in for two days, helping out by doing a lot of scanning/cropping work for us. This is him, posing next to a photograph of one of the early Indy 500 drivers. Abe’s looking around for design work currently and, as soon as I get a link from him, I’ll post his site up here. The Indy 500 stuff…
Why the spicy Ninja Combo, of course!
Justin brought this t-shirt for me yesterday, so I of course had to wear it today. I think he got shirts for all of us, actually. :) What’s that you say? Real ninjas don’t need to advertise? That’s it. Tonight, I kill you while you sleep.
The shit you were worried about last night? The work stuff? Guess what? You decided to not worry about it and go hang out with friends instead. And this morning, you looked over the code you were struggling with and figured the shit out. Nothing broke that couldn’t be fixed. There was no failure. There was no complaint. Nobody died….
I’ve been to this bar only once before (I remember shooting pool with Stu for some reason). Which is odd, since this place is like two blocks (if that) from where I live. I was working on whiskeys all night, and didn’t get ridiculously sloppy. I got to meet a few new folks as well, which was nice. Left to…
During the reading, I had a difficult time not thinking about how much I wanted to be in front of a crowd again, reading my own writing. It’s been close to five years since I’ve done anything like that, and the sheer magnitude of what my ego is lusting after is a little disconcerting at times. The thought that kept…
Gretchen was part of a reading at Quimby’s this evening, one of a few authors related to the2ndhand. It’s been forever and a day since I’ve been to a reading, so I was excited on several levels. You can’t see it, but there’s a sizeable crowd behind this area. Where I was standing, I was about halfway inside the audience….
