As interesting as this looks… I really wish they’d stop fucking with old movies.

Seriously – how many remakes do we have to do each year? Is there such an absence of decent screenplays out there that we have to resort to hedging our bets like this?

I’m torn about this film. I really want to see it (which, I guess, justifies the remake itself). But there’s an equal part of me that just views these remakes as easy money, as lazy. Have we really run out of new stories to tell?
