Woot!

Game two was a bit more eventful for me. I was able to stick it out to the end, and won a few key hands that helped me maintain a healthy lead (although Eric and I were going back and forth a bit, towards the end there).
This is a shot of the final hand. Eric had a Jack and, with the cards, had two pair. I had 10/6 suited, and got the Ace and Jack off the flop. I’m not sure if, statistically, this was something I should have gone for… but Eric went all-in, and I decided to match him. Luckily… that King of diamonds fell at the very end, which gave me the Flush (and the hand). In looking back on this, I also realized that I was one card shy of a Royal Flush.
Great stuff tonight. A lot of fun hanging out with everyone (although it did get markedly more tense, during the second game).
