Hanging Out
Mostly, when relatives visit… we do one of two things. We either hang out at someone’s house, or we eat. This afternoon, we all met up at my Aunt Vicky’s place, and… well, we waited around a while until it was time to eat.
Andrew ended up finding this wooden dealie, and pushed it all around the house. Squeaking like you wouldn’t believe. I’m not sure if it’s an actual kid’s toy or an antique or what, but he was having the time of his life.
And of course, the only way it gets better… is if he’s the one being pushed.
My aunt Becky (Jenny’s mom) is a classically trained pianist, and pretty freaking incredible. It’s always fun when she visits because more often than not, she’ll just pop on a piano and start playing around randomly. Below, I got some video of her playing (and lucked out and got Andrew going by, in his little wooden horsey).
My grandma, playing with Jasmine. I wish I could adequately describe the joy that comes across my grandma’s face when she sees any of her grandkids. When she gets to talking with them, it’s hard to tell who’s smiling more.
So. Freaking. Cute.
*explodes*
Andrew, impatient to get to the restaurant.
