Rob’s new studio is above a lumber store, right on Division. It’s a smaller office, but it sounds like Rob really wants to trim things down and get a bit more minimal. It’s a really cool, cozy little space.
This is one thing I’ve always envied about visual artists – they have this whole separate, physical space they go to, to do their thing. With writing… you need some paper, a pencil, and you’re set. The idea of physically going somewhere else to do your work is very appealing.
Looking out over Division.
The view from Rob’s new space.
Saying goodbye outside. We took a raincheck on some beers, and made plans to help him move some of the remainder of his stuff on Saturday.
