Q101/Loop Christmas Party
We were at the top of the W Hotel this evening, for our annual office party. This is an all-station event and, since we’ve added The Loop to the mix, I guess that makes it a dual-station event.
Lots of free booze, great food, a pretty snazzy room, door prizes and a live karaoke band. Can’t really beat that.
It was pretty dark in this place, so the video’s a bit dim (as are some of the shots). Didn’t take a ton of pics, but enough that I think you’ll get a sense of what transpired.
Looking into the room, from the entryway.
Fabulous prizes! Lots of good stuff here (including a Tivo, a PSP, and a ton of other electronics). Sadly, none of us won anything save Rey – who got a Johnny Cash DVD.
I guess I used up all my luck last year, when I won that remote controlled car.
I tried getting a photo of one of the hors’ dourves – this guy in particular. A small square of a grilled cheese sandwich, balanced on a shooter of tomato garlic soup. Man oh man, I could have feasted on this all night.
Phil’s wife Charity, doing her version of “Gin and Juice.” Laaaaaaaaid back.
Bass and Marv (dressed as Santa), singing “Feel like Makin’ Love.”
Phil, doing his kick-ass version of “Helter Skelter.” He totally let his energy loose, and for the first time all evening… a crowd of people surged up to the stage. This particular song was truly something to behold.
