Photos imported!

Finally got a sort of hack going, where I was able to modify all my images. I ended up doing some stuff manually, as it was taking me more time to research Applescript syntax than it would have for me to just do it by hand. One of these days, I’ll get into doing Applescript more… but for the time being, I’m sick of looking around for dictionaries and definitions.

Watching iPhoto import all my images… it rekindled my original desire for some sort of massive, multi-photo slideshow. I sort of got close with my Fast Forward 2003 project, but I’m wondering if video is the real way to go. Watching iPhoto pull in the past three plus years of my life in photos… two photos per second… it was cool to watch everything quickly unfold and pass by.

My next (real) attempt at Applescript will likely be something that will batch all my photos and spit out a jpeg sequence that I could bring into QuickTime. That’d be pretty fun. :)
