Cookout with Chris and Leslie (and Fozzie, who is not a dog)
This afternoon, Liz and I swung over to Chris and Leslie’s place, for an afternoon cookout. On arriving, we learned that they had a series of last-minute cancellations, and so it was just the four of us.
We hung out in the backyard for a good while, sinking beers and chomping on chips and some (homemade) salsa. The backyard area is pretty fantastic, and the enormous tree out back warranted its own photo.
Chris, lighting up the grill. He cooked us up some brats and burgers, which we ended up taking inside. We spent the remainder of the afternoon hanging out inside, eating and chatting in the kitchen area.
I, for some inexplicable reason, kept telling Liz about how great Fozzie was, and how cute he was. And, in my head, Fozzie was a dog.
However, Fozzie has really improved on the whole “fetching” routine, as evidenced below.
Before leaving, Chris loaned me a copy of “Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus.” He and I have been kicking around ideas for this game we’re making at work (for Fox’s “Prison Break”). One of the effects/ideas involves the sweeping of a flashlight; this game was something that Chris wanted us to look at, as reference.
Since I’m catsitting for Chelsea right now (and since she’s got a PS2), I decided to give it a whirl. I love how this is work-related.
