Hello world!

Well, it’s been an interesting few weeks. I’ve finally gotten everything moved over into Movable Type, and I’m happy to say that as of today – I’m ditching the old blog format.

I have a ton of technical details about the process, but I’ll save those for later. For the time being – I hope you like the new setup. Please explore and click around, and let me know if anything seems amiss.

A few quick stats. So far, I’ve been making blog entries since July, 2002. That’s makes for about 1,711 days, within which there were 5,115 separate entries. Yowzah! Converted over to just text files, the blog weighs in at a hefty 10.1 MB.

Craziness.

I’ll be looking to add more stuff here, as time permits. I’d like to get back to the randomized flash banner, as well as getting a newer version of the audioplayer set up here. But! I’m happy to say that one of the cooler features of MT is the whole “comments” bit.

Starting now, people should be able to leave notes or replies for each entry. I’m still getting used to how the whole process works, so bear with me for a few days. But anyone should be able to post (though I have to review it first, prior to publishing).

So have at it and comment away! I look forward to hearing from all of you, and can’t wait to find out more about your hot penny stocks and your Viagra deals.
