Webby Honoree
We found out today that one of our projects from last year (Field to Freedom, a game we created for Fox’s Prison Break) got a slight nod from the Webby Awards. While not an actual Webby Award proper, it’s still a good feeling to know that we did well enough to garner a mention (or, in this case, an “Honoree” designation – which places us in the top 15% of submitters).
The category we’re in was Other Advertising: Game or Application. Looking around at some of the other projects, as well as the companies building them, I’m really incredibly proud. We’re keeping good company.
While there were a ton of hands involved on the design side (nearly everyone contributed to the build), the biggest props go to Chris, who did the bulk of the coding for the game.
This was a fun, fun project to work on. Anything that lets me watch TV as research, play video games, and make audio recordings can’t really count as work, can it?
For a wrap-up of the game, check out this entry. And if you want to play the game? Have at it.
