Found (Abandoned) Dog, Post-Surgery Pics of Henson
Just got an email from Mary, from Northcentral Maltese Rescue. We turned over Henson, a dog we found earlier in the week, over to her rescue group on Thursday.
Based on the pics Mary sent, it looks like things went well and he’s on the road to recovery.
Henson with a little cone collar. I know he’s better, now that his leg is all fixed up… but I can’t help but feel a little sad looking at those eyes. Poor little guy.
A little shaved and a little scarred, but patched up. While he was under, the vet also worked up some of his teeth and also had him fixed. I don’t doubt that Henson’s a bit uncomfortable at the moment, but much, much better off than he was a few days ago.
He’ll be at the vet through the weekend, and will spend the remainder of his recovery with Mary.
