Vimeo: 25 Favorite Videos of 2009

Vimeo has posted their 25 Favorite Videos of 2009. I’m slowly going through them, and really enjoying the quality of both the videos and the stories within each.

So far, my favorite has been the music video for “Luv Deluxe,” by Cinnamon Chasers.

Interesting sidenote: one of the videos to make the list was something I mentioned on the blog a while back: Bathtub IV, a slick tilt-shift video. While I’m not usually one for the tilt-shift effect, I thought the video was superb… and I got absolutely addicted to the song in the background by Megan Washington.

In fact, I liked the song so much, I ended up looping it incessantly while I was working on my Pecha Kucha presentation. It’s been a few months since I gave my talk, but everytime I hear that song… I can’t help but think of that time.
