Attention Students: Class Has Now Began

While I was taking the elevator at work, the doors opened up on Everest College, where there are a lot of students training to be medical technicians. Directly in front of the elevator doors, I saw this:


Wow. Just… wow.

Like how I feel about ambulances, I don’t want the issue of “quality” to enter in to anything related to the medical profession. Typos are bad, and we’ve all made them. But seeing this sign made me realize how, more than any other field, typos are at their most dangerous when it comes to medicine and health.

Oscar Wilde once said that “A poet can survive everything but a misprint.” For the rest of us… here’s to good proofreaders and good physicians.
