Rocky Salemmo: The Bowler

This is a fascinating mini documentary about Rocky Salemmo. He’s a total character, unique in both his energy and his outlook. It’s a blast just watching and listening to him tell his stories.

Rocky grew up with his mother working at a snack bar in a bowling alley. As he got older, he realized he was pretty good at bowling. From there, he began trying to make his way through his skills at bowling: earning a living without actually earning a living.

Filled with close calls, last-minute miracles, this mini-documentary highlights a guy who clearly loves the bowling lane, and the lifestyle that goes along with it.

Man.. the phrase “How do you like it, fuck-o?” is pretty damn fantastic. I need to work it into my everyday conversations more.
