A Photograph of Me from 1992, on Senior Skip Day, Dressed like a Pregnant Woman, Having Just Given Birth to a Cabbage Patch Kid Near the Entrance to North Central High School

Thanks to my friend Kathleen, I now have a photo from Senior Skip Day (a day where seniors at North Central High School traditionally pull pranks, do silly stuff, and then generally don’t go to class).

Long story short: I went into labor near the HS auditorium, and had a ton of students chanting “Push, Push” as I gave birth to a doll. I had wished for photos from this day, and lo and behold… last night an email appears from Kathleen, along with a scan of an old photo she took. The full story regarding just what the heck’s going on can be found here.

The first three things my wife said to me, when seeing this photo:

1) Woooow, you really do look like a girl.
2) You know, you grew into your ears a lot better.
3) That’s really scary, honey.

Surprisingly, no comments about the glasses. That was a freebie.

Not too shabby a job on the makeup, tough. Particularly with the eyeshadow and rouge? I think my foundation could use some more work, but overall my makeup looks pretty tastefully applied. It seems… subdued. I don’t feel like I look like a whore is what I’m saying.

I look pretty good, don’t you think? I mean, for an Asian guy in drag circa 1992. “Hot” might be too strong a word, but it’s the first word that comes…

Listen, don’t make this weird. I know me and my newborn child look adorable, so let’s just leave it at that and call it a day.

And now. Let’s never speak of this again.
