New Bench, New Wave Coffee

While walking to work this morning, Liz happened to see a group of guys working on a large structure. From a distance, it looked a bit like a platform of some kind. As we got closer, we realized it was a series of benches, curving and connecting with one another.

In passing, I stopped and asked one of the guys where the bench was going to be situated. He kind of paused, looked at me and said: right here.

Duh. Not sure why I thought they’d be constructing the thing, only to then move it once they were done.

Realized the bench would be for New Wave Coffee – which should really make the place hopping once Chicago settles down with all the roller coaster weather we’ve had lately.
