JJ Grey and Mofro: Somebody Else

Recently, I happened to be looking over my history on Rdio, and realized I had added several albums to my collection that I didn’t recall at all. It’s a funny thing, as I tend to add new music pretty infrequently… but noticed I had several new albums.

On playing a few songs, I had this moment of Hey, this is pretty great! and kind of remembered why I liked the artist in the first place.

One song in particular that’s caught my ear: Somebody Else, by JJ Grey and Mofro. I scanned around for a good video of this song, and though there were a few others of better quality… this one had the best sound. Fair warning: the guy recording the video gets a little off towards the end of the video:

If you can’t tell, I’m a huge fan of Rdio. Even though I never thought I’d find myself buying into a monthly music subscription service, I’m really glad I did. I know a lot of people prefer Spotify, but both services have a free version. I just like the look and feel of Rdio much more.
