Installing New Gas Lines, Part 2

Sunday found us back at it, working in the basement. Here we found an exit for where the exhaust was, previously.

Our house (and the building next to us) were built right along the property lines – so we are super close to our southerly neighbors. That brick is their wall, believe it or not.

An old sorter containing a bunch of small nipples.

The pipe that’s been connected, venting out to the side. Bob also raised the meter, and set it back against the wall a bit more from where it was originally.

The upside to all of this is how much more space we’ve gained – the pies are hugging the walls and ceilings, and are as out of the way as they can be.

Additional new pipe, curving around the North of the basement.
