More Work in the Kitchen

Moved out the old stove (which didn’t work). Setting up our dining room as a makeshift kitchen, while we’re working on redoing the actual kitchen. It’s going to be a few months of this, so we’re prepping ourselves to settle in for the long haul.

View of the cabinets (which were not so well constructed, and which we aren’t planning on keeping).

Getting rid of the upper cabinets and soffits.

Old, gross kitchen pantry removed and cleaned up.

Lower cabinets removed.

Liz, working on painting some drywall.

And also painting some of the basement joists. We got a coat of paint on here a while ago, but much of it soaked into the wood. This time around, we’re getting better coverage.
