Patatap: Keyboard Powered Music Maker
Patatap is a fun site that binds sounds to your keyboard. Each key, from a-z, produces a different sound as well as visual effect. By pressing the space bar, you shift into a different mode, where each key has a new set of sounds and visuals.
It’s a very clean and simple page, and a lot of fun to play with. Took me a try or two before I realized that the space bar shifted everything into a new grouping. It would be interesting to be able to paste in short sentences, so that everyone could “hear” what a certain phrase sounded like.
Ooh, or better yet – paste in a Twitter URL, and it sings back the tweet for you.
