Saintseneca: Bloodbath

I’ve stopped my incessant looping of the same song over and over… and I’ve now switched to looping an album over and over. The latest band I’ve gotten into is Saintseneca, and their latest album Dark Arc.

Initially, I wasn’t sure if I liked the group or not, but after a few listens they’ve definitely grown on me. So much so to the point where I’m now listening to this album nonstop.

In a lot of the songs on this album, there’s a very interesting shift between tempos – a slow, single voice that shifts into the whole band singing, all instruments blaring.

Interestingly, their label (antirecords) has a full album stream available on YouTube. Very cool, and worth checking out.
