Hyde Park Garden Fair

On our way home on Friday, Liz and I stopped by the Hyde Park Garden Fair that was going on. We passed it earlier in the day, and by the time we swung by they were starting to close up shop.

Vendors, covering up for the day/night.

There were a lot of different tables/sections, for all manner of plantable things. We are still a long ways from really doing much of anything in our yard, but it’ll be nice to one day start to actively look for things to plant.

Even at closing time, there were lots of folks wanting to purchase more plants.

Liz found a guy that caught her eye. The plant has these very soft and fuzzy red things all over it – I didn’t catch the name, but it’s a very unique looking plant. We got in just under the wire with this one!

It felt nice to browse around in this area, and I’m becoming incredibly font of this small public/fountain space at the mall near us. It’s a lovely spot to catch a cup of coffee, as well as for small events like this.
