Bible with Swastika

Spotted this guy on the way to work. There was an assortment of items (a discarded suitcase, along with some books and newspapers) left near 54th street. On closer inspection, I realized that the book on top was a Bible (but had a swastika adorning the edge).

This just seemed like a strange combination of things to see together. I paused long enough to snap a photo, but didn’t get a chance to open the book up to look inside. It looked like there was a section that was bookmarked, which makes me wonder what other notes or scribbles might have been lurking within.
