Home Depot Pickup

Earlier in the week, Liz and I went out to Home Depot to pick up more supplies for the house. A big item on our list was lots of insulation for our pipes. We knew which types to get, thanks to Bob, and so Liz ended up doing much of the ordering online (and using the in-store pickup option).

I have to say – the process was really quite nice. In the past, we would have spent a lot of time going up and down the aisles, looking for everything. But we just walked up to the counter, gave our names, and everything was sitting on a cart ready for us to transport out to the car.

Liz and I have been trying to spend at least two nights, after work, working on the house in some capacity. Doing the in-store pick up markedly cut down our time in the store, and helped us feel like we weren’t spending the bulk of our night wandering the aisles.

Home Depot fun. This counts as a date night, right?
