Birthday Meals: Steak and Biscuits

On Saturday night, Liz took me out to Benny’s Chop House for a lovely birthday dinner. We don’t really eat much beef for our meals (we mostly stick with chicken/turkey), so this was a nice change of pace.

I’m a fairly straightforward kind of guy. Birthday meal? Steak. And a martini. And I’m pretty much all taken care of right there.

The flash of the camera for the photo (above) was rather gauche, but the place was dark. And the martini was strong.

The next morning, I got another treat: a trek back to Bang Bang Pie for breakfast!

Ever since we came here for Liz’s Birthday last year, I’ve had trouble not thinking about their food.

Following them on Instagram was both a fantastic and terrible decision.

Even though last night’s meal was savory, and this morning’s meal was meant to be sweet… I ended up getting their Ginger Sage Sausage Biscuit.

Ok, I lied. I got two of them.

    • Thanks! I may circle back to Hearthstone at some future point. Found out that Torchlight II was finally made available for Macs, after an eon, and have been playing that via Steam lately.

It satisfies my World of Warcraft fix without, you know… actually playing World of Warcraft.
