More Loop Link Construction, Washington and State

Spotted some more construction for the Loop Link on my way in to work. This was located on Washington, between Wabash and State.

Once I spotted the curved, black support structures… I knew what was going on.

These were taken the following day. Pretty fast, given what went in the day before! This woman was a team of three welders who were all working simultaneously.

This other woman appeared to be leaning in, super close to what she was doing.

I found all this fascinating and could have stayed out here for an hour, just watching. I’m curious why they had three welders at once, and whether it was necessary for them to be working in tandem… or if they were just rushing to meet a certain deadline.
