Mattias Petter Johansson: Composition, Inheritance, and Murder Robots

While my day job has me focusing a lot on CSS of late, I’ve been trying to read up a bit more on ES6. In reading one of the articles I’ve seen floating around this week (How to Learn ES6, by Eric Elliott)… I happened across this video by Mattias Petter Johansson:

I’ve watched this video several times, and have found myself laughing a great deal at his opening examples. Even if you’re not a developer, I think the first few minutes are really fun, and worth a watch.

A fun line from the video:

We also need a murder robot that can drive and kill… all the cats and dogs that are pooping all over your nice, Scandinavian, white floors.

I’ve found myself really enjoying the style of Johansson’s videos. They’re engaging, silly, and a far cry from some of the dry conference talks I’ve seen posted online.

If you’re curious to see more, he’s got several posted up on his YouTube page. I’m likely going to start back at the beginning, and work my way up.
