A Mysterious Box Attached to a Stoplight
A few days ago, while walking to work, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I was at Wabash and Washington, and something just seemed… a little off.
At first, I thougt there was some kind of box attached to the stoplight. But on looking closer, I realized it was a little more involved than that.
It was actually a separate pole!
There was some kind of wire at the end, and I’m assuming it was either picking up or sending info somehow.
At the top of the (locked) box, there was a note saying that this belonged to Gewalt Hamilton Associates, and was some kind of traffic data collection device. Note quite as eye-pleasing as an Array of Things node, but whatever gets the job done, I guess.
