Backyard Fence Prep Day 3
After a brief pause on Sunday, we returned to work (after work) on the backyard. We got a call on Monday, with an official time for the fence install (they’re pouring on Thursday morning, then returning on Friday to do the actual installation). So the clock’s ticking.
Back out with the sawzall, removing some roots.
Liz, checking out the end of the yard.
Me showing off a really large and really old garden stake that was buried in the ground. Presumably, the top half rusted away at some point. Who knows how long this has been here?
Also, I seem to like to hold large things up for the camera.
A larger pile of mostly wood chips in the middle. We were hoping to have most of this hauled away, but we ended up storing a lot of it in a plastic garbage bin.
Not sure what this is, but found it while we were clearing things. Hey, at least it wasn’t another brick.
Liz, leveling things with the rake.
The third garbage bin we have, full of soil. I think there are a total of five bins now in our driveway, holding nothing but soil.
The area near our house.
