I Brought You Flowers

Spotted this while headed home last week: a couple sitting across from one another, and the woman holding a bouquet of flowers.

I don’t recall 100% if I saw the guy hand those to her (I think I did). But I walked by, debated, and then turned around again so I could walk back and take this photo.

This is not the first time I’ve glanced into a Metra train on my way home, and seen something worth capturing.

Not sure what’s up with those flowers next to the guy, though. They seem to be just sort of floating there in the chair. I think they’re attached to a small, black rod – but that leaves me with just as many questions.
